It's no use boiling the cabbage twice

When it comes to the kitchen, this might be good advice. But in design, if I’m honest, I often boil the cabbage twice and sometimes three or four times.

Each tweak, no matter how small, gets us closer to clarity. This is what I’ve learned…

✨ Boiling the cabbage is sometimes how we refine taste

✨ Exploring options can help us see what works (and rules out what doesn’t)

💡 Even near-identical versions can change a brand

But there does come a point when we have to say, “It’s ready. Let’s serve.”🤗

I’ve also learned that the process isn’t about rushing to the finish — it’s about doing it at the right pace and collaboratively. And an extra round in the pot might make all the difference.

If you’re exploring options on a design project and want to chat, I’d love to hear from you.
